1.1. There will be an orientation of the dormitory rules and regulations on the first working day in dormitory
from 9:00 am to 12:00 nn. For students who arrive on weekends (Friday to Sunday), orientation will be done on Monday. For students who arrive on weekdays, orientation will be on the following day.

1.2. During orientation, student should bring four copies of passport size photos (for school I.D., dormitory pass, SSP, personal information), passport, birth certificate, bank certificate, flight ticket, invoice issued from him/her country and dormitory deposit of US$ 50.

1.3. For lost I.D., student should pay P100.00 as replacement fee.

2.1. Upon arrival in the dormitory, student will be assigned to their corresponding room type of their choice which they paid for when enrolled. Student should follow and keep this room assigned clean.

2.2. Student, together with the Manager, will check if the room is complete and all amenities are working. Once confirmed, student will be made to sign the ¡°Room Item List¡± which serves as the basis in checking prior student¡¯s departure and for claiming his/her US$ deposit.

2.3. Weekly room cleaning service is available upon the request booked in the office. Cleaning will not be done without attending student assigned to that room.

2.4. Cleaning materials are supplied in each room so students can clean by themselves.

2.5. Monthly electric bill will be given to the student regularly and shall be paid every 4th day of the month. Pending payment from previous bill will be subject for 5% penalty, and this will be added to your new bill.

2.6. For lost room key given, student must pay P500.00 for the door lock replacement and key duplication. This amount shall be automatically deducted from student¡¯s US$ deposit should he/she refuse to pay.

2.7. Damaged property or lost of dormitory items caused by student must be paid for a repair cost set by the office and/or be made to replace with equivalent or higher material. In case of non-payment, amount shall be automatically deducted from student¡¯s US$ deposit.

2.8. When the replacement fee is above the US$50 deposit, student has to pay for the excess amount or else, he/she will not be allowed to leave the dormitory premises until the account has been settled.

2.9. Change of room assignment is not allowed only except when there is a compelling valid reason to do so. In this case, student must request to the office availability and when there is, he/she must pay additional fee and give three-days allowance upon payment before transferring.

2.10. Student must pay P1,200 when he/she changes room for his/her personal reason which is not accepted by the office.

2.11. For room type upgrade, student should make request at the office for vacancy of the desired room type. When available, student has to pay immediately the corresponding additional fee and allow three-days before transferring.

2.12. There is no refund for room type downgrade.

2.13. Dormitory transfer is not allowed.

2.14. A student should follow the room assignment set by the office.

2.15. ¡°Complaint Logbook¡± is provided in the office for students who wish to raise his/her concern/s. A three-working days allowance should be allotted for settling of minor issues and repairs. Major items will be dealt immediately.

2.16. When there is a need to repair of any facilities or rearrangement of room for the new roommate, dormitory personnel can enter the room with Manager only when there is permission from the student to do so.

3.1. Dormitory Laundry service will be provided by the Philippine staff. Students can also wash their laundry using the washing machines with her/his own detergent.

3.2. Free laundry is offered. Students must bring their soiled items to the laundry service counter.
For those who wish to avail of the service, below schedule must strictly be followed:
Male every Tuesday¡¯s and Friday¡¯s
Female every Monday¡¯s and Thursday¡¯s

3.3. Scheduled time for receiving and releasing of laundry must strictly be followed. No accommodations will be allowed beyond specified time.

Receiving soiled laundry: 12:00 nn ~ 12:45 pm

Releasing clean laundry: 12:45 nn ~ 13:30 pm

3.4. Students should count the number of soiled clothes in the presence of the receiving dorm staff.

3.5. Student ID number will be used in all of the laundry transactions.

3.6. Students can get their clean clothes 2 days after transaction only. In case of continuous bad weather, an extension of 2 days shall be allotted.

3.7. Socks, underwear, cap, bags, shoes and other small items are not included in the washing service.

3.8. It is the responsibility of the student who avails of the laundry service to check whether the item is machine washable, ensure that pockets are empty and free from anything that might cause stain and damage on the clothes. Management must not be held responsible and accountable for any damage that may arise from this free service.

3.9. Management will take utmost care of all laundered items. However, in an unforeseen event of loss, one -week period shall be allotted to locate lost item. Otherwise, below charges must be followed:-

3.10. Students should wash their own expensive and valuable laundry by themselves.

3.11. For students who choose to wash their own personal things, a laundry area equipped with necessary machines is provided for at the ground floor. This will be all at student¡¯s risk. Washing of items that can ruin or damage the machines is strictly PROHIBITED. Students who will violate this shall be dealt with accordingly.

4.1. Meal time should strictly be followed. There shall be no accommodations beyond specified time, as follows:
Breakfast (Monday ~ Friday) 7:00 am ~ 8:00 am
(Sat., Sun. & Holidays) 8:00 am ~ 9:00 am

Lunch 12:00 nn ~ 1:00 pm

Dinner 5:30 pm ~ 6:30 pm

4.2. Meals are served only during the specified time. After this time students are not allowed to ask any kinds of food at any reasons.

4.3. Student should decide not to take his/her meal in the dorm, office should be informed one meal before so as not to waste the food.

4.4. Food take-out and/or removal of utensils and dishes from the kitchen/dining areas is strictly prohibited. Student found violating this rule will pay an amount of P100.00.

4.5. Likewise, left-over foods shall be penalized with P100.00.

4.6. Students are not allowed to get inside the kitchen area.

4.7. One of the Management¡¯s primary intentions is to serve students with the best possible food available in the market. Students with specific food allergies and/or constraint s should inform the office upon arrival.

4.8. Comments and suggestions regarding with the meals served will always be welcome in order for us to serve you better.

5.1. Each student is required to pay US$50 dormitory deposit upon arrival, other currency is not accepted.

5.2. The student and the Manager will check student¡¯s room on the first day of their arrival. Students should learn how to handle the facilities and check if these work properly.

5.3. Four working hours before student is scheduled to depart from the dormitory for his confirmed flight schedule, the Manager, together with the student, must check the room if everything are complete and in good condition.

5.4. Broken, missing or damaged items shall automatically be deducted from student¡¯s dormitory deposit. If deposit is not enough, student has to outright pay for this.

5.5. Upon the confirmation of the Manager that the room is in perfect condition and there is no other pending unpaid bills, the US$50.00 room deposit shall be returned to the student.

6.1. Office must be informed soonest upon the student¡¯s confirmation of departing flight schedule. Immediately, exit clearance should be processed in any pending student obligations; like: electricity bill, room item damage, dorm ID card returned and others.

7.1. In and out policy

7.1.1 The main gate must be used for going in and out of the compound.

7.1.2 For students safety and security of the dormitory facilities, we have curfew time at 12:00 Am (Midnight), and students cannot go out until next day 5:00 Am. This rule must be followed strictly.

7.1.3 This curfew time can be changed by the manager¡¯s concern on the specific day.

7.1.4 If a student wants to stay out over the night, the student should ask permission from a Manager at least 3 days before the day. If a student wants to stay out more than 1 night, the student should hand over related documents with waiver.

7.1.5 Failure to come back to the dormitory prior to the curfew time will be deemed as violation of this rule whereupon student¡¯s ID shall be confiscated and a ¡°Warning¡± letter from the Manager will be given the following working day. Three repetitions of this offense will mean immediate EXPULSION from the dormitory premises and his/her will be sent back to his/her country.

7.1.6 Students going out but intend to return back before curfew time, must inform the Security Guard of his/her destination.

7.1.7 The going out of new student in the dormitory is strictly prohibited without the manager¡¯s permission.

7.1.8 Student is required to fill-up and submit to the Office the ¡°Waiver Application¡± form if he/she intends to stay outside of the dormitory beyond curfew time.

7.1.9 Student names whose applications are approved to stay beyond curfew time, shall be reflected in the waiver logbook found and kept by the Security Guard. All must be conscientious in ensuring their names appear in the logbook prior in going out in order to avoid problems.

7.1.10 For travelling/vacationing students, items 7.1.5 and 7.1.6 applies.

7.1.11 Failure of the student to return back to the dormitory on the committed time/date, 7.1.2 applies.

7.1.12 He/she must go to the office on the next day. The office manager will be the one to give his ID back with a warning letter.

7.1.13 The student who submits an explanation letter within 24 hours after receiving the first warning letter will get one time leniency after the dormitory manager finds the student¡¯s explanation valid and reasonable.

7.1.14 In case a student receives a warning letter for the third time, he/she must leave the dormitory immediately without any refund.

7.1.15 In the event that student does not come back to the dormitory on the 2nd day and fails to return as committed, the office shall call the parents¡¯ and/or guardian¡¯s attention of the student immediately for disciplinary actions. On the 3rd day of absence, the office will report to the local police and notify his/her corresponding national Embassy. Student should take all responsibility and accountability.

7.2. Visitors Policy

7.2.1 Each student is allowed to invite only one visitor at a time to the dormitory. Visiting hours of 8:00 am ~ 5:00 pm, Mondays ~ Saturdays shall strictly be followed. No Sunday visitations.

7.2.2 Student must get approval from the Dormitory Manager one working day before the scheduled visit. ¡°No approval, no visitor¡± policy should always be maintained. Management reserves the right to reject any visitor from entering the dormitory premises even if this has been approved before.

7.2.3 If a visitor doesn¡¯t have any permission, he/she cannot enter the dormitory. The dormitory manager has the right to prevent the visitor from coming inside the dormitory even if they get approval, when they assumed that they have improper purpose and dress code.

7.2.4 Visitor is allowed to hang out with student in the snack bar or lobby ONLY. All other areas are strictly PROHIBITED. Violation of the visitor to follow this rule will mean student cannot enjoy this privilege anymore.

7.2.5 If a student does not follow these instruction, he/she cannot avail for this privilege in the future.

7.3 Dormitory Room Rules

7.3.1 Dorm room assigned to students are for their use ONLY.

7.3.2 NEVER should an opposite sex be allowed to enter and stay in the other¡¯s room. Violation of this offense will mean immediate EXPULSION from the dormitory premises.

7.3.3 An opposite sex student should not loiter in the other¡¯s area. A ¡°Warning Letter¡± shall be issued to the offending student. Three repetitions of this offense will mean immediate EXPULSION from the dormitory premises.

7.3.4 When our staff has to enter the student¡¯s room to repair the facilities or set up the room arrangement for the new students, they can enter only when there is a student of the room.
In case there is no student in the room, they can enter the room under guard¡¯s and manager¡¯s observation.

7.3.5 After the student¡¯s requests cleaning service, our staff will visit to his/her room on the requested time. Our staff will not enter and clean the room unless there is a student. When a student can not be in his/her room during the cleaning time because of his/her full four class sessions, he/she should ask the office so that the manager and guard can observe instead of him/her.

7.4. Internet Usage/Room Rules

7.4.1 Free internet access is provided for the convenience of students to have direct contact with his/her country. Usage time allowed is: 7:00 am ~ 12:00 mn

7.4.2 Computer games and installing programs other than what is provided, for is not allowed as this slows down efficiency.

7.4.3 Eating, drinking and smoking inside the internet room is strictly PROHIBITED.

7.4.4 Internet users are expected to clean their mess and tidy one¡¯s seat.

7.4.5 If last user, student must turn off the lights, electric fans and air- conditioner before leaving.

7.4.6 In respect and in consideration of other students who want to use the computer, students are enjoined to limit internet use for only 20 minutes at a time.

7.5. Study room

7.5.1 Silence, cleanliness and orderliness must be observed in the study room at all times. Disturbing other students is not allowed.

7.5.2 Please do not disturb other students..

7.5.3 Dragging of chairs, writing on tables and bringing of these items outside of study room is not tolerated. Offenders will be dealt with accordingly.

7.5.4 Chatting, eating, drinking or smoking inside the study room is strictly prohibited.

7.5.5 Please clean and tidy up one¡¯s seat before leaving the study room.

7.5.6 If last user, student must turn off the lights, electric fans and air- conditioner before leaving.

7.6 Drinking Alcoholic Beverages and Smoking

7.6.1 Dorm is an ¡°Alcoholic Drinking-FREE zone¡±. Violators shall automatically be EXPELLED from dormitory. Likewise, bringing in of alcoholic beverages to the compound is not allowed. Students caught will receive ¡°Warning Letter¡± and items will be confiscated.

7.6.2 Smoking designated areas must always be followed. Offenders will be dealt with accordingly. Students caught bringing any alcoholic drinks or beverages inside the dormitory will be given warning letter in accordance with the policy and if students are exposed in drinking alcoholic beverages in the dormitory, they will be expelled immediately.

7.6.3 Smoking is allowed only in smoking areas.

7.7 Disturbance of Peace & Order, Violence and Abuse

7.7.1 Violence and physical abuse are strictly prohibited, both inside and outside of dormitory premises. Violators will immediately be EXPELLED from the dormitory premises without refund and shall be subjected to punishment in accordance with the Philippine laws.

7.7.2 Manager reserves the right to expel students right away without refund depending on the degree of violence and abuse.

7.7.3 Student disputes must be solved through diplomatic way in the presence of Dormitory Manager. If this is not possible, Management reserves the right to seek assistance from the Philippine local government offices concerned that shall enforce the law in order to maintain peace and order.

7.7.4 Filipino Police can intervene in a dispute in the case of the violence, they have their own right to solve the case.

7.7.5 Leading or participating in disorderly behavior, groupings, making malicious, obscene or libelous statements about the person or any member of the firm. Prompting or participating in disorderly behavior during class or office hours

7.8 Disturbance

7.8.1 Students have to solve the problems with the officer in-charge through conversation.

7.8.2 When a student has any complaints, he/she should address it to the office immediately. In the case of group gathering or rejecting activities and classes, Management will not face the circumstances but do the legal process under Philippine law.

7.9 Dating

7.9.1 Public display of intimate affection is prohibited. No dating inside the dormitory premises. Failure to follow will be deemed violation of this rule whereupon student¡¯s I.D. shall be confiscated and a ¡°Warning¡± letter from the manager will be given the following working day. 3 repetitions of this offense will mean immediate EXPULSION from the dormitory premises and students will be sent back to Korea.

7.10 Privacy

7.10.1 Silence must be observed after 22:00 PM to respect other students who are studying or sleeping. Dormitory Security Guard has the right to call upon students¡¯ attention who are disturbing other students¡¯ privacy. Student will be dealt according if he/she disregards or ignores the lawful order of the guard.

7.10.2 Students must be vigilant enough to their actions which may cause unpleasant and/or undesirable feelings for other stuents.

7.10.3 Students will be given with a warning letter when they go beyond the imitations.

7.11 Prohibition

7.11.1 Cooking is not allowed inside the dormitory.

7.11.2 When a student was found cooking, the office will confiscate all the cooking stuffs and will give ordinance to leave the dormitory without a refund.

7.11.3 Raising pets or any animals inside the dormitory is highly prohibited.

7.12 General Rules

7.12.1 Please clean up all public areas every after use.

7.12.2 The things in the dormitory are for all the students. Handle dormitory stuff carefully. and damaged or missing things will be charged to the person concerned.

7.12.3 Do not move any dormitory possession at one¡¯s own pleasure.

8.1 A guard exists for the safety of staff and students.

8.2 A guard has the right to fire a shot when one or more of this cases occur:

8.2.1 When a student is causing harm to staff and other students.

8.2.2 When an outsider is causing harm to staff and students.

8.2.3 When an outsider came into the dormitory without any permission.

8.2.4 When the guard can no longer control a person¡¯s bad behavior
(climbing over the wall, carrying alcoholic drink, drinking alcoholic drink, violence, etc.)

8.2.5 Management is not held liable in the event when the guard is forced to fire the gun.

8.3 If a student is hurt or wounded by the guard because the guard has to keep order and peace in the dormitory, responsibility is held on account of the student.

8.4 After knowing all the dormitory rules, please keep away from acting contrary to the rules.
The above articles are not just rules. Please be reminded of all these for your own safety.

9.1 If a student fails to follow dormitory rules, he/she will receive a warning letter from the office.

9.2 The conduct of assuming leadership of an assembly instigating the students. And conduct of slandering Management without objective validity and facts. Damaging the reputation or properties of Management intentionally. Violence. Entering the other gender¡¯s room or sleeping together. Cooking and Drinking inside the dormitory. The conduct of jumping in and over the wall. In these cases, the student must leave from the dormitory immediately without any refunds.

9.3 Bringing alcohols into the dormitory. And flinging abuse at a person and infringing going out time or making an attempt going out after the promised time. Improper attitude during the class. In these cases, the student will receive a warning letter. If a student get warning letter three times, at the moment he/she gets third warning letter, that student will be expelled out of the dormitory without any refunds.

9.4 The student who gets warning letter for habitual drinking, regular visiting to casinos, taking drugs, gambling, delinquent attitude in living can be restricted writing a WAIVER by the manager for certain period of time.

9.5 If a long term registered student get a warning letter twice, in this circumstance, it is
allowed to cancel one warning count, if the student attend classes more than 90percent and follow the rules & regulations without any breaks.

9.6 Exclusive for dormitory 1, filing a waiver can be restricted twice a week only.

the case of making any forgeries on the documents or letting make it by a representative, that student will be expelled immediately without any refunds.

11.1 In case there is any problems with the Management, please come to the office and talk with the manager.

11.2 If a student wants to have any information about the Philippines, the student can ask the manager for more information.

13.1 Students are encouraged to attend the free TOEIC class at TOEIC class room from 18:10 to 19:40 every evening.(Mondays ? Thursdays)

13.2 TOEIC textbook is available for sale at the office.

13.3 This TOEIC class is provided students for free by UC campus, so it is not the thing that students can complain about and to ask refund when they are not satisfied.

13.4 When there are less than 5 students in class, the class will be closed.

13.5 TOEIC class will be opened again during the working time when there are more than 5 students¡¯ applications.

14.1 Dorm1- A student can use the swimming pool only from 6 AM to 8 PM for safety.

14.2 Dorm2- A student can use swimming pool in Sand trap from 8 AM to 10 PM.

14.3 Dorm 3- A student can use swimming pool at the roof deck of UCLM, prior notification will be done by the office with the in charge of the facility. They can use it only from 8 PM to 10 PM.
The service time mentioned above can be changed by the Manager¡¯s authority.

15.1 Extension Policy

15.1.1 The student should pay within 1 week from the date mentioned on the document to the appointed bank account.

15.1.2 This application will be cancelled automatically, unless it is paid within the promised period. (1 week from your application date)

15.2 Accommodation Upgrade Policy

15.2.1 The student should pay within 1 week from the date mentioned on the document to the appointed bank account.

15.2.2 This application will be cancelled automatically, unless it is paid within the promised period.(1 week from your application date)

15.3 Overstay Policy

15.3.1 Overstay fee should be paid in Php only.

15.3.2 Basically, you can stay at dormitory for 1 more night after the last day of your tuition and overstay will be counted from the midnight.

15.3.3 To stay more, you should fill out the application form and it should be hand over at least 1 week before your estimated ending date and it is not allowed to accept without the form.

16.1 Refund policy

16.1.1 If you ask before your departure, you can receive a full refund.
(Except egistration fee)

16.1.2 If you get less than 25% of your total classes, you can get 50% of refund from your balance.

16.1.3 If you already got more than 25% and less than 50% of your total classes, you can get 25% of refund from your balance.

16.1.4 Except those three cases mentioned above, you cannot receive a refund.
16.1.5 Always grant, the death of family members in a direct line, if you hand in related documents, you can get 50% of refund.

17.1 If you ask 2weeks before your extension duration start, you can receive a full refund.( Except essential fees)

17.2 If you have less than 2weeks from your extension classes start, you can receive 75% of your payment.(Except essential fees)

17.3 If the extension classes are already started and still remained more than 75% out of the whole extension period, you can get 50% of your balance.(Except essential fees)

17.4 If you attend more than 25% and less than 50% of your extension duration, your refund will be 25%.

17.5 Except those 4 cases mentioned above, you cannot receive a refund.

17.6 Always grant, the death of family members in a direct line, if you hand in related documents, you can get 50% of refund from your balance.

18.1 The remaining classes can be taken within 6months from your kept date.
18.2 Application form of keeping should be able to check when you re-registered.
18.3 It is not allowed to take remaining classes during the peak seasons.
18.4 It is not allowed to get refund for kept duration
18.5 Remaining classes should be taken once.
18.6 Impossible to give your kept duration to others.

1. Students are provided with bulletin board for their personal notices. Prior to posting, students should secure an approval from the manager of the dormitory. It must be noted that if the notice is written in Korean language there must be an English translation at the lower part of the notice to prevent miscommunication.

2. To comply with the implementing rules of UC campus, students must observe proper dress code upon embarking the bus. Students will not be allowed to ride on the bus if he/she is not following the proper dress code.

3. Office working time (pls. refer section 12-8).

4. All students who are studying here in the Philippines are governed with Philippine holidays. Company is not be compelled to refund the students or provide make-up classes for suspension of classes due to holidays.

5. All previous policies are regulated by this revised rule. Company has the right to change the policy if the managements ascertain that implementing rules are no longer effective for the operation.
