7.1. In and out policy
7.1.1 The main gate must be used for going in and out of the compound.
7.1.2 For students safety and security of the dormitory facilities, we have curfew time at 12:00 Am (Midnight), and students cannot go out until next day 5:00 Am. This rule must be followed strictly.
7.1.3 This curfew time can be changed by the manager¡¯s concern on the specific day.
7.1.4 If a student wants to stay out over the night, the student should ask permission from a Manager at least 3 days before the day. If a student wants to stay out more than 1 night, the student should hand over related documents with waiver.
7.1.5 Failure to come back to the dormitory prior to the curfew time will be deemed as violation of this rule whereupon student¡¯s ID shall be confiscated and a ¡°Warning¡± letter from the Manager will be given the following working day. Three repetitions of this offense will mean immediate EXPULSION from the dormitory premises and his/her will be sent back to his/her country.
7.1.6 Students going out but intend to return back before curfew time, must inform the Security Guard of his/her destination.
7.1.7 The going out of new student in the dormitory is strictly prohibited without the manager¡¯s permission.
7.1.8 Student is required to fill-up and submit to the Office the ¡°Waiver Application¡± form if he/she
intends to stay outside of the dormitory beyond curfew time.
7.1.9 Student names whose applications are approved to stay beyond curfew time, shall be reflected in the waiver logbook found and kept by the Security Guard. All must be conscientious in ensuring their names appear in the logbook prior in going out in order to avoid problems.
7.1.10 For travelling/vacationing students, items 7.1.5 and 7.1.6 applies.
7.1.11 Failure of the student to return back to the dormitory on the committed time/date, 7.1.2 applies.
7.1.12 He/she must go to the office on the next day. The office manager will be the one to give his ID back with a warning letter.
7.1.13 The student who submits an explanation letter within 24 hours after receiving the first
warning letter will get one time leniency after the dormitory manager finds the student¡¯s explanation valid and reasonable.
7.1.14 In case a student receives a warning letter for the third time, he/she must leave the dormitory immediately without any refund.
7.1.15 In the event that student does not come back to the dormitory on the 2nd day and fails to return as committed, the office shall call the parents¡¯ and/or guardian¡¯s attention of the student immediately for disciplinary actions. On the 3rd day of absence, the office will report to the local police and notify his/her corresponding national Embassy. Student should take all responsibility and accountability.
7.2. Visitors Policy
7.2.1 Each student is allowed to invite only one visitor at a time to the dormitory. Visiting hours of 8:00 am ~ 5:00 pm, Mondays ~ Saturdays shall strictly be followed. No Sunday visitations.
7.2.2 Student must get approval from the Dormitory Manager one working day before the scheduled visit. ¡°No approval, no visitor¡± policy should always be maintained. Management reserves the right to reject any visitor from entering the dormitory premises even if this has been approved before.
7.2.3 If a visitor doesn¡¯t have any permission, he/she cannot enter the dormitory. The dormitory manager has the right to prevent the visitor from coming inside the dormitory even if they get approval, when they assumed that they have improper purpose and dress code.
7.2.4 Visitor is allowed to hang out with student in the snack bar or lobby ONLY. All other areas
are strictly PROHIBITED. Violation of the visitor to follow this rule will mean student cannot
enjoy this privilege anymore.
7.2.5 If a student does not follow these instruction, he/she cannot avail for this privilege in the future.
7.3 Dormitory Room Rules
7.3.1 Dorm room assigned to students are for their use ONLY.
7.3.2 NEVER should an opposite sex be allowed to enter and stay in the other¡¯s room. Violation of this offense will mean immediate EXPULSION from the dormitory premises.
7.3.3 An opposite sex student should not loiter in the other¡¯s area. A ¡°Warning Letter¡± shall be issued to the offending student. Three repetitions of this offense will mean immediate EXPULSION from the dormitory premises.
7.3.4 When our staff has to enter the student¡¯s room to repair the facilities or set up the room
arrangement for the new students, they can enter only when there is a student of the room.
In case there is no student in the room, they can enter the room under guard¡¯s and manager¡¯s
observation.
7.3.5 After the student¡¯s requests cleaning service, our staff will visit to his/her room on the requested
time. Our staff will not enter and clean the room unless there is a student. When a student can
not be in his/her room during the cleaning time because of his/her full four class sessions,
he/she should ask the office so that the manager and guard can observe instead of him/her.
7.4. Internet Usage/Room Rules
7.4.1 Free internet access is provided for the convenience of students to have direct contact with his/her country. Usage time allowed is: 7:00 am ~ 12:00 mn
7.4.2 Computer games and installing programs other than what is provided, for is not allowed as this slows down efficiency.
7.4.3 Eating, drinking and smoking inside the internet room is strictly PROHIBITED.
7.4.4 Internet users are expected to clean their mess and tidy one¡¯s seat.
7.4.5 If last user, student must turn off the lights, electric fans and air- conditioner before leaving.
7.4.6 In respect and in consideration of other students who want to use the computer, students are enjoined to limit internet use for only 20 minutes at a time.
7.5. Study room
7.5.1 Silence, cleanliness and orderliness must be observed in the study room at all times. Disturbing other students is not allowed.
7.5.2 Please do not disturb other students..
7.5.3 Dragging of chairs, writing on tables and bringing of these items outside of study room is not tolerated. Offenders will be dealt with accordingly.
7.5.4 Chatting, eating, drinking or smoking inside the study room is strictly prohibited.
7.5.5 Please clean and tidy up one¡¯s seat before leaving the study room.
7.5.6 If last user, student must turn off the lights, electric fans and air- conditioner before leaving.
7.6 Drinking Alcoholic Beverages and Smoking
7.6.1 Dorm is an ¡°Alcoholic Drinking-FREE zone¡±. Violators shall automatically be EXPELLED from dormitory. Likewise, bringing in of alcoholic beverages to the compound is not allowed. Students caught will receive ¡°Warning Letter¡± and items will be confiscated.
7.6.2 Smoking designated areas must always be followed. Offenders will be dealt with accordingly. Students caught bringing any alcoholic drinks or beverages inside the dormitory will be given warning letter in accordance with the policy and if students are exposed in drinking alcoholic beverages in the dormitory, they will be expelled immediately.
7.6.3 Smoking is allowed only in smoking areas.
7.7 Disturbance of Peace & Order, Violence and Abuse
7.7.1 Violence and physical abuse are strictly prohibited, both inside and outside of dormitory premises. Violators will immediately be EXPELLED from the dormitory premises without refund and shall be subjected to punishment in accordance with the Philippine laws.
7.7.2 Manager reserves the right to expel students right away without refund depending on the degree of violence and abuse.
7.7.3 Student disputes must be solved through diplomatic way in the presence of Dormitory Manager. If this is not possible, Management reserves the right to seek assistance from the Philippine local government offices concerned that shall enforce the law in order to maintain peace and order.
7.7.4 Filipino Police can intervene in a dispute in the case of the violence, they have their own right to solve the case.
7.7.5 Leading or participating in disorderly behavior, groupings, making malicious, obscene or libelous statements about the person or any member of the firm. Prompting or participating in disorderly behavior during class or office hours
7.8 Disturbance
7.8.1 Students have to solve the problems with the officer in-charge through conversation.
7.8.2 When a student has any complaints, he/she should address it to the office immediately. In the case of group gathering or rejecting activities and classes, Management will not face the circumstances but do the legal process under Philippine law.
7.9 Dating
7.9.1 Public display of intimate affection is prohibited. No dating inside the dormitory premises. Failure to follow will be deemed violation of this rule whereupon student¡¯s I.D. shall be confiscated and a ¡°Warning¡± letter from the manager will be given the following working day. 3 repetitions of this offense will mean immediate EXPULSION from the dormitory premises and students will be sent back to Korea.
7.10 Privacy
7.10.1 Silence must be observed after 22:00 PM to respect other students who are studying or sleeping. Dormitory Security Guard has the right to call upon students¡¯ attention who are disturbing other students¡¯ privacy. Student will be dealt according if he/she disregards or ignores the lawful order of the guard.
7.10.2 Students must be vigilant enough to their actions which may cause unpleasant and/or undesirable feelings for other stuents.
7.10.3 Students will be given with a warning letter when they go beyond the imitations.
7.11 Prohibition
7.11.1 Cooking is not allowed inside the dormitory.
7.11.2 When a student was found cooking, the office will confiscate all the cooking stuffs and will give
ordinance to leave the dormitory without a refund.
7.11.3 Raising pets or any animals inside the dormitory is highly prohibited.
7.12 General Rules
7.12.1 Please clean up all public areas every after use.
7.12.2 The things in the dormitory are for all the students. Handle dormitory stuff carefully.
and damaged or missing things will be charged to the person concerned.
7.12.3 Do not move any dormitory possession at one¡¯s own pleasure.
